Moss HR is an independent HR consultancy based in rural Suffolk. We work with small to medium-sized businesses across the East of England and beyond. Our VALUES underpin everything we do.

Communication

Straight forward, no nonsense talk is a strength and we pride ourselves on our honest and direct approach. Many issues arise because managers are unsure of how to handle a subject issue – poor performance, unsuitable conduct or appearance is common theme. Tough decision-making is a part of everyday business life and we’re not afraid to take the bull by the horns and have those difficult conversations whilst maintaining an empathetic approach.

Behind Moss HR

Joanne is the founder of Moss HR. Joanne’s career shifted from finance to HR in 1999 when she fell into the role of HR Officer for a warehousing and distribution company. Several roles and industries later, and choosing not to return to the full time corporate world after starting a family, Joanne decided to work independently as an HR Consultant. In 2019, she took the next step and formed Moss HR Limited.

Joanne is a Chartered member of the CIPD and her experience covers many industries including education and schools, motor retail, warehousing and distribution, hospitality and the not-for-profit sector, Joanne has a wealth of knowledge built up over her 20-year career in HR.

Joanne’s style is very much hands-on, with sound business acumen, she gets to the root of the issue quickly, coming up with solutions right for your organisation.
