Getting the best out of performance reviews

Performance reviews are a really important part of workplace life. They’re a chance for you to let your employee know how they’re doing – but they’re also a space for conversation, discussion, and keeping on top of any issues your team member may be facing.

In theory they should provide a positive experience for everyone involved, but a 2019 Gallup poll revealed that only 14% of employees believed their performance review inspired them to improve.

How can you manage performance reviews to ensure they work positively for you and your team members? Our partners at Breathe have put together an excellent blog offering advice on ways to prepare for and conduct performance reviews, which you can READ HERE.

If you’re looking for advice on anything in the blog, or to talk the issues through with our team, please get in touch at [email protected] or 01449 708999.
